In the current COVID-19 crisis, we can imagine that the school holidays can seem rather daunting when it comes to thinking of ideas to do with your children whilst in isolation.
Our educational expert, Sophie Sparks has spoken about the importance of keeping children in a relaxed routine during the holidays for their mental and physical wellbeing.
It is recommended to write a holiday plan to help maintain a relaxed, positive, enjoyable break.
For example, in the morning you could follow a Youtube channel that posts physical exercise routines daily, such as P.E. with Joe. Between morning tea and lunchtime, do some baking, and after lunch, arts and crafts or painting. The key is to keep it relaxed and fun, if you don’t stick to the plan it doesn’t matter!

During this time, it is also really important for your children to stay connected. We suggest setting up Skype or Zoom accounts to be able to chat with friends and family.
If you celebrate Easter, perhaps organise an Easter lunch with family over Zoom and everyone can try cooking the same meal.
